I also conduct security researchI focus on identifying vulnerabilities in ransomware gang infrastructure and helping expose the actors behind it. under the htmalgae alias, with work featured in Krebs on Security, The Register, and other industry publications.

Outside of work, I spend my time practicing different musical instruments, playing chess, hiking, home automation and tinkering with electronics.
